The rabbits are meat rabbits. They are kept in welfare cages, which means that the rabbits can stand upright and have more space than conventionally kept rabbits. The rabbits are killed with the use of CO2.
This product is an 'Ethical Product' because these rabbits have not grown fast enough, so it is not financially feasible for breeders to use them for human consumption.
